    Universal Integration

    ForAny e-commerce site

From creating your Mirror account to sending your product catalogue automatically. Part 1 creates your account, Part 2 sends your products. No technical knowledge needed, except for the appendix, meant for the person who manages your website.

Part 1 - Create your Mirror account

Creating your account takes about 10 minutes, in 6 steps.

    1

    Open the sign-up page

Open your web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge...) and go to: https://app.mirror.younzee.com/en/signup

The page shows the title "Create your Mirror account".

    2

    Fill in the form

    FieldWhat to enter
EmailYour email address. It will be your login.
PasswordA password of at least 8 characters.
Confirm passwordThe same password, a second time.
Company nameThe name of your store or company.
Domain URLYour website address, without "https://". Example: mystore.com
    1. Tick the box confirming you accept the terms of use and the privacy policy. It is required.
    2. The marketing emails box is optional: tick it only if you want to receive our news.
    3. Click the "Continue" button.

    Good to know

Your website address matters: it is what allows the Mirror module to appear on your product pages. Check that it is spelled correctly.

    3

    Confirm your email address

A "Check your inbox" message appears. Mirror has just sent you an email.

    1. Open your inbox.
    2. Open the email sent by Mirror.
    3. Click the confirmation link it contains.

    Can't find the email?

    • Look in your Spam or Junk folder.
    • Check that the address entered in step 2 is correct.
    • If the link says "This confirmation link is invalid or has expired", contact the Mirror team.
    4

    Complete the last step

The link opens a page "Your account is confirmed. One last step." You are signed in automatically.

This page offers a ready-made store connection: it does not apply to you. Simply click "Continue".

    5

    Choose your plan

A "Choose your plan" window opens. This step is required to access your space.

    1. Choose the billing frequency: Monthly or Annual (annual is cheaper).
    2. Click the plan that suits you. If the Mirror team offered you a specific plan, choose that one.
    3. Add options if you wish, then click "Continue".
    4. The "Payment details" window appears. Enter your bank card then click "Confirm payment". Payment is secured by Stripe.

If a plan shows "Contact us", the Mirror team sets it up with you directly.

    6

    Discover your space

You land on your Dashboard. The left menu gives access to every section:

    SectionWhat it is for
    DashboardThe overview of your activity.
ProductsThe list of products Mirror has received from you.
Reco & VTOThe size recommendations and virtual try-ons made by your customers.
Size guideThe size charts used for recommendations.
AnalyticsUsage statistics of the module on your website.
SubscriptionYour plan, your invoices and your payment method.
SupportTo ask the Mirror team a question.
SettingsYour account settings and the history of your product imports.

    Signing in later

On the "Sign in to your space" page, enter your email address in the Login field, then your password. If you forget it, click "Forgot password?" to receive a reset link by email.

Part 2 - Send your products to Mirror

For Mirror to recommend the right size to your customers, it needs to know your products. You send them as a file.

    How it works

    1. You prepare a file containing all your products, from the Excel template provided.
    2. You drop it in your secure upload space (called SFTP).
    3. Mirror reads the file automatically and updates your products.

    What is SFTP?

It is a secure folder on Mirror's servers, protected by a login and a password. It works like a shared folder: you drop your files in, Mirror picks them up.

    1

    Fill in the Excel template

    Download the Excel template

Open the file Modele_import_produits_Mirror.xlsx. It contains three tabs:

    • Produits: the tab to fill in with your products;
    • Exemple: an already filled example, to guide you;
    • Mode d'emploi: a reminder of the rules.

The column titles are in French: this is the exact format Mirror reads, do not translate or change them.

    The 4 rules to remember

    1. One line per size. A product sold in S, M and L takes 3 lines. The 3 lines are identical, except the Size and Stock columns. A one-off piece takes only one line.

    2. Always the whole catalogue. Each file must contain all your products on sale. A product missing from the file is considered withdrawn from sale and disappears from Mirror.

    3. Don't touch the first line. Column titles must stay exactly as they are: same spelling, same order.

    4. The right product reference. The "ID produit client" must be the same reference your website uses to display the Mirror module. Otherwise, Mirror does not recognise the product on the page.

What to enter in each column

Columns marked (required) must always be filled in, otherwise the line is rejected. Fill in the other columns too: the more complete the information, the better the recommendations.

    ColumnWhat to enterExample
Titre (Title)The product name.Robe longue en satin
DescriptionThe product description, as it appears on your website.Robe fluide, col V
Marque (Brand) (required)The product brand. If there is none, write "Sans marque".Zara
Catégorie (Category) (required)The type of garment.Robe
    Couleur (Colour)The main colour.Vert
    Genre (Gender)Homme, Femme or Mixte.Femme
Prix (Price)The selling price, in figures, without currency symbol. Comma or dot accepted.49,95
URL vers le produitThe full link to the product page on your website.https://mystore.com/products/dress
URL vers l'image du produitThe full link to the main product photo.https://mystore.com/images/dress.jpg
Actif (oui/non)"oui" if the product is on sale, "non" otherwise. Careful: an empty cell counts as "non".oui
ID produit client (required)The unique product reference in your system. All sizes of the same product share the same reference.REF-1001
Taille (Size) (required)The size of this line. For a piece without size: "Taille unique".M
StockThe quantity available for this size. Leave empty if you don't track stock.3
    2

    Save the file as CSV

Mirror reads files in CSV format, a text format every spreadsheet can produce.

    With Microsoft Excel

    1. Click the Produits tab to display it. Excel only saves the tab shown on screen.
    2. Click File, then Save a copy (or Save as).
    3. In "File type", choose CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited), with the .csv extension.
    4. Give the file a simple name, for example catalogue.csv, then click Save.
    5. If Excel warns that some features will be lost, confirm: this is normal.

    With Google Sheets

Click File, then Download, then Comma-separated values (.csv).

    3

    Receive your SFTP access

Once your account is created, the Mirror team sends you your personal access by email:

    • the server address;
    • your login;
    • your password.

The port to use is 22.

    4

    Upload your file

To upload a file, use free file transfer software. We recommend FileZilla Client (Windows and Mac), to download from the official website filezilla-project.org.

    1. Install then open FileZilla.
    2. In the bar at the top of the window, fill in: Host: sftp:// followed by the server address; Username: your login; Password: your password; Port: 22.
    3. Click "Quickconnect".
    4. On the very first connection, a window mentions an "unknown host key". Tick "Always trust this host" then click OK.
    5. The right side of the window shows your Mirror space. Double-click the INPUTS folder to open it.
    6. On the left side (your computer), find your CSV file, then drag it into the INPUTS folder on the right.

That's it: Mirror processes the file automatically, with no further action from you.

    5

    Check that the import worked

    1. Sign in to your Mirror space.
    2. Open Settings then the "Integration history" section: each file received appears with its status.
    3. Click an import to see the details of rejected lines and the reason.
    4. Open the Products section to find your products.
    6

    Automate sending (recommended)

Uploading the file by hand works, but you have to do it again at every catalogue change. To keep Mirror always up to date, ask the person who manages your website to schedule an automatic upload, at least once a day. The appendix at the end of this guide gives them all the information they need.

    Common problems

    What you seeWhat to do
I don't receive the confirmation email.Look in your spam and check the address entered. Otherwise, contact the Mirror team.
FileZilla can't connect.Check the login and password (watch the capitals), port 22 and the "sftp://" before the server address.
The import shows an error, or lines are rejected.Open the import details in Settings. Most often, a required cell is empty: Marque, Catégorie, ID produit client or Taille.
A product does not appear.Check that the "Actif (oui/non)" column says "oui" and that the line has an ID produit client.
Accents display badly (for example "é" instead of "é").Save the file again choosing the "CSV UTF-8" type.
A sold product still appears.Remove it from the file (or set it to "non"): it will disappear at the next upload.

For any other question, use the Support section of your Mirror space.

Appendix - Information for your technical team

This appendix is for the person who manages your website. It describes how to automate sending the catalogue.

    Server access

    ItemValue
    ProtocolSFTP (SSH)
    Port22
AuthenticationLogin and password, sent by email by the Mirror team
Upload folderINPUTS (the only writable folder)

    File format

    • CSV format, UTF-8 encoding (the BOM added by Excel is accepted).
    • Semicolon separator recommended. Comma, pipe and tab are also detected.
    • First line: the 13 headers, identical and in this order:
    Titre;Description;Marque;Catégorie;Couleur;Genre;Prix;URL vers le produit;URL vers l'image du produit;Actif (oui/non);ID produit client;Taille;Stock
    • One line per size variant. Lines of the same product share the same "ID produit client".
    • Required fields: Marque, Catégorie, ID produit client, Taille. A line missing one is rejected.
    • Genre: "Homme" or "H", "Femme" or "F". Any other value (or empty) is treated as unisex.
    • Actif: "oui" for a product on sale. Any other value, including empty, means "non".
    • Prix: decimal number, with a dot or a comma, without currency.
    • Stock: integer. Empty means "stock not tracked" (different from 0).
    • Taille: "Taille unique", "Unique" and "TU" mean a piece without size.

    Sending rules

    • Each file is a full snapshot of the catalogue. A product present at Mirror but missing from the latest file is removed. Never send a partial file.
    • Drop one full file per upload, in INPUTS. The file name is free, for example catalogue_YYYY-MM-DD.csv.
    • Recommended frequency: at least once a day, ideally after each major catalogue change.
    • The "ID produit client" must be the identifier your product page passes to the Mirror module. Both must match exactly.

    Automation example

On a Linux server, a scheduled task (cron) can generate the export then upload it with the lftp tool. Example upload command:

    lftp -u "LOGIN,PASSWORD" sftp://SERVER_ADDRESS -e "cd INPUTS; put /path/to/catalogue.csv; bye"

Example daily schedule at 2 am (crontab):

    0 2 * * * /path/to/export_and_send_catalogue.sh

On Windows, WinSCP offers an equivalent scripting mode, usable with Task Scheduler. Store the password in a vault or an environment variable, never in plain text in the source code.
