    SKU & variant mapping

    The snippet automatically forwards each product's data to Mirror via postMessage. No manual SKU file is required, Mirror reads the live Shopify product context.

    The following fields are sent for the current product:

    • id, Shopify product ID
    • handle, product URL handle
    • title, product title
    • imageUrl, featured image (1024×1024)
    • customerDomain, your shop domain

    When the customer accepts a recommended size, Mirror sends an ADD_TO_CART event with the size label. The snippet matches it against your variant titles (case-insensitive includes) and adds the right variant to the cart.

    Go-live QA checklist

    Before announcing the launch, verify the following on a real product page:

    • Clicking the button opens the Mirror iframe full-screen with no horizontal scroll.
    • The browser prompts for camera access (required on HTTPS).
    • The product title and image inside Mirror match the current product page.
    • Selecting a recommended size adds the correct variant to the Shopify cart.
    • Closing the iframe restores normal page scroll.
    • Test on desktop Chrome, Safari iOS, and Chrome Android.
    • Confirm the integration on at least one out-of-stock variant. A clear error is returned.

    Yes. Mirror ships as a theme block and as a Liquid snippet. You can drop it into any product template.

    Will it slow down my store?+

    No. The Mirror iframe is lazy-loaded and our scripts are served from a global CDN.
